Dickens Novel "Great Expectations"

I think Charles Dickens titled his book Great Expectations because he expects the orphan Pip to persevere over his circumstances and achieve great things hence the name "Great Expectations".

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems so far:
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Reasons: this poem is very inspirational and can relate to anyone it speaks to you telling you to stick with it and always have faith and to never give up on anything.

Abstract Big Question

Q: How does music affect people?

Background: Music has been around for millions of years since the beginning of time people made music with any items they could find in order to entertain themselves.

Need: The need for music varies person to person. Some people devote their lives and have music in everyday of their life, but some people do not have music in their lives as much. But regardless if you enjoy music a lot or not as much music is a part of every persons life.

Purpose: Music has a way of affecting people in such a way that they act and change their feelings just by listening to a song. I am very interested in why music affects people psychologically and want to do research to figure out why it makes people act a certain way.

Organization: When researching for any topic you have to make sure you have creditable sources. Once i have all the sources I need for my Big Question i will organize it into a easy and well organized research paper.
