Tale of Two Cities

Manchester was the 3rd city involved
In 1857 Dickens assisted in writing and acted in the play The Frozen Deep
There's a sort of parallelism between A Tale of Two Cities and The Frozen Deep
In 1858 he became known as the greatest reader of the greatest writer
Was inspired to write Tale of Two Cities from his childhood growing up in London
London and Paris are the two cities
Was written around the French Revolution
Dickens didn't really like the revolution but interesting enough incorporated it all in the novel Tale of Two Cities
when he visited Paris he thought it was the most amazing place and he visited it more then 15 times
The novel came out chapter by chapter not all at once
Many of the characters in the novel were based off of real life people Dickens knew
