Final project
My final project is pretty much done. We talked to students in 3rd and 4th period and informed them about the AP coarse next year and what to expect, as well as college decisions and scholarship opportunities. We helped somewhat at the official orientation and I feel it's good that t it's a good way to get to know the coarse through a students eye.

End of the year plans
1) my goals for this is to inform kids about next years AP English class. As well I want to prepare them for college admissions and scholarship opportunities.
2) all I require is an audience I already hold the knowledge I need.
3) I've already talked to Mrs. Nylander and she said come in sometime next week and we can speak to her classes anytime.
4) I plan on just making a PowerPoint and talking to the students to inform them.

Literature as a conversation over time
1) I feel that she started off very strong beginning a essay with a quote is always a good and easy way to answer a prompt to a question. I feel that watching this video you can't help but take a bias to her because of her age you will give her extra kudos just because her writing is so deep and in depth for her age.
2) I feel like that from where she lives and in her shoes she believes every word she wrote. But maybe because I have never been where she is I can't take what she says as what I see as the truth because I have never seen a teacher be racist where I live. I have seen them take a bias to student athletes and I can see kind of where she is coming from.
3) I can see where she's coming from because I see it all the time with Righetti and it's student athletes and teacher treat them. I have never really seen racism in my life besides movies but I'm sure where she is from that is is prevalent and happens a lot. So I can't help but take her arguments and passion on the subject as the truth.

Ap progress
Today I didn't get as much done for ap as I would have liked I had tons of distractions but happened to do about 15 questions of multiple choice. I forgot to Check answers although so have yet to see how I've done on them.

Signs of times
I feel like what the students are doing is right. Why would the teachers want to limit what the students can and can't do. They shouldn't give the students the lab tops then not give them the free reign to do what they want on the internet its like giving a dog a huge back yard and then not let him run around. I think the teachers are teaching the students bad habits by not letting them have free reign on the Internet. I know that the teacher are worried about kids using the Internet for social networks and i think that by doing that they are crippling them for college and that if they let them and give them free reign then in college and in life they will be able to manage their time better. So I feel that the teachers are crippling them for life.
